The relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux are to visit Britain for the first time, from 16 September to 15 October 2009. Before she died in 1897, Thérèse expressed the desire to work as a missionary, spreading the faith to distant parts of the world. Whilst her early death prevented the fulfilment of this ambition, over the last fifteen years her relics have travelled to many countries, inspiring thousands of pilgrims to pray in their presence. This booklet, which brings together some of the most profound prayers and texts by Saint Thérèse, as well as a variety of prayers to her or inspired by her, will help people prepare for this visit.
