Update on the New Lectionary (Autumn 2024): The new Lectionary has now been approved, and updated Sunday Missals are now available, with scripture readings taken from the English Standard (Catholic) Version, and the Psalms taken from the Abbey Psalter. Please also note that the readings themselves will not change, just the translation. If you have previously purchased a missal, you will still be able to use it, but at Mass, you will notice the exact wording of the readings and psalms differs slightly from the ones printed in your missal. Also if you have a Missal or order of Mass with no scripture readings, this is unaffected by the change. |
